What We Do
At K9 Active, we are your OC Dog Walker. From a 40-minute walk to a full day at the dog beach, exercise is what we focus on with every dog under our care.
As a graduate of Cesar Millan's "The Training Cesar's Way: Essentials of Dog Psychology & Socialization" course, I have developed the skills to effectively communicate with dogs and understand their needs. A person has to identify the psychology of dog behavior and how they view their social world. Exercise and discipline are essential in a dog's life — a tired dog is a happy dog! I stay Calm, Confident, Assertive and always practice Love & Joy with all dogs!

Leash Etiquette Training
Proper leash etiquette starts with the right tool — the slip lead — and correct placement on your dog. But the tool alone is only part of the equation. At K9-Active, we demonstrate the technique and then require each dog owner to observe and practice alongside us, because 80% of dog training involves the owner.
Dogs are followers, not leaders — it's up to us as owners to show our dogs that we are the calm, confident pack leader. Many behavioral problems, leash pulling, and reactivity stem from dogs being allowed to take the lead. A well-balanced dog needs a well-balanced owner. It all comes down to your energy: if you're not willing to rethink and adjust your energy, no tool will be fully effective on its own.
